God has welcomed a sweet angel to heaven. Ronnie had the most fantastic magical voice that reverberated through some of the most spectacular music recordings ever. Her presence made the very stage she stood on shimmy like her velvet gowns. She was truly a goddess to behold. Now the angels have a choir partner.

I always wondered who sang the "Be My Little Baby' on Johnny M song' Take Me Home Tonight". What a beautiful voice, a gifted spirited queen. Ronnies energy and humor made her stand out from the rest, it was infectious. It makes me happy to hear her voice, no one will ever be able to duplicate her in anyway. Not the Supremes or Marvelettes. The Ronnettes were in my opinion one if not the best girl singing groups of all time. Ronnie said that she loved Rock and Roll, and that's the way it will always be. But she was so much more than Rock and Roll. Ronnie could sing anything if she wanted to, but she wanted Rock and Roll and that's was her way, and that's the way she did it. RIP Ronny & Estelle.

I first fell for Ronnie as a teenage Coast Guard sailor, age 18, at the Peppermint Lounge, in Manhattan - 1963. What a voice; I became a spellbound fan! Little did know, that my affinity for her dynamic sound would make me into a lifelong musical afficiendo of hers! That powerful, yet beautiful voice - her style of delivery and the romantic overtures, always would excite my musical appetite. I followed her career for over 50 years, and never tired of hearing that musical splendor! I can remember the many Amtrak trips up from Florida, just to see her X-mas shows every year at BB King’s or the City Winery, and how excited I would get - just hearing her once again - from the front row! God Bless her, and keep her, for all the happiness and enjoyment she gave to the world, with that magical voice. Thanks Ronnie; I will miss you and remember you forever! A devoted fan and friend - Mr. Ness - Budd Lake, N.J. ❤❤❤

We always can just experience joy by just listening to the first three beginning bars of any bars of any song in her enormous music catalog. Although her family and friends will feel her loss more deeply. Her musical fan are deeply as affected as well. It was a joy to catch her shows at the Tarrytown Music Hall in New York. The world lost a true original. Rock and Roll Heaven gained one of its brightest stars. No woman ever has, or ever will replicate that unique, magical voice. I was just 9-years-old in November of 1964 when "Walking In The Rain" hit the charts. My older sister would make me walk the southern Jersey streets with her at night, while she sang that song at the top of her lungs - in the rain. I returned to our little cape drenched to the bone, frozen stiff, and one thoroughly humiliated little brother. Sing in Peace, Ronnie - and thank you for providing the soundtrack to my childhood.
