Opal McIntyre Obituary

Opal Faye McIntyre was born July 4, 1932 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to Nellie and Seward Haga. She joined her husband and the love of her life Donald McIntrye in heaven on January 29, 2022. Faye and her family moved to Bayfield, CR-502 in April of 1944. She attended high school in Bayfield and graduated from BHS in 1950 in a class of 8 students. Faye married Donald McIntyre in 1953, Donald went into the service. Two years after joining the service Donald would return home and they bought their forever home on CR 516. Faye is survived by their 5 children, 7 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, brother Jerry Haga, sister Ruth Sutherlin, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Faye McIntyre was preceded in death by her husband Donald McIntyre, her parents Nellie and Seward Haga; sister Ruby Jackson; brothers Jack and Melvin Haga; granddaughter April Dawn Sutherland.

A service will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Bayfield High School Performing Arts building at 2 PM.
