Michael Ray Aldridge went to his heavenly home on January 1, 2021 at Wadley Regional Hospital in Texarkana, TX. He was born October 25, 1946 in Buckner, AR. to Melvin and Ida Mae Aldridge.
He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Mid-State Pipe as a welder until his retirement.
Mike loved gardening, flea markets, fishing, hunting, his cows, chickens and spending time with family, especially the grandchildren. He was kind and loving to everyone. Mike is greatly loved and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Larry Aldridge.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Eddie “Sue” Aldridge, one sister Cora Mae Harris and husband Ronnie, sister-in-law Gayle Aldridge. His children Michelle Hanson and husband Chuck, Wesley Aldridge, Waylon Aldridge, Megan Raley and husband Steve, Melissa Brokstorm, Debbie Stringer and husband Damon, Melanie Jackson and husband Keith, Tamara Greene, Dianne Jetton, Deanna Greene, Michael Greene, Michelle Downs and husband Tommy. 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, January 4, 2021 at the A.O. Smith funeral home chapel. A public graveside service will be held directly after the service at Sardis cemetery in Stamps, AR with Bro Jamey Knighton officiation under direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home.
