I was fortunate to know Hal and his beloved wife Vivian for over 20 years. After Viv's death, Hal continued on as the outgoing, welcoming, happy soul all his many friends knew and loved.
May his legacy live on through his sons, daughter, and 8 grandsons, who are all special people like Hal.
Fondly, Anne Putnam

We were next door neighbors of the Emrich family for 25 years in Hunter's Hill. Shortly after we had all moved into the new subdivision in 1972 Harold and my husband, Paul, planted a Marine Locust tree in the center of our front lawn. Now, every time we drive through the neighborhood to visit someone there, we see that tree.. way higher and almost as wide as the house, still healthy after all these years, and we think about Harold's help planting what is now a HUGE tree! Harold also took Paul on his first cross country skiing effort, as well as bringing him to his first Bronco game, along with a few other adventures. I remember that Harold also especially enjoyed cross country skiing with daughter, Sandy. Also we still have several of his hand made and painted Christmas tree ornaments. He was a wonderful guy!! We loved him and Vivian!
