Lately singing some of the songs we both sang long ago and over the years. I really miss this guy and his music.

When I'm performing country-western music I remember the life and soul of Greg Ryder. You made a difference, my friend.

I just learned about the tragic death of Greg Ryder. He and I were good friends during the summer of 1971 when we were cabin counselors in the Junior Boys Division of National Music Camp, now Interlochen Center For The Arts. Greg and I loved music, and he let me play his banjo. We spent evenings together at the Hofbrau in Interlochen village singing and playing guitar and banjo. He was a really kind and compassionate person. Even though I shared only 8 weeks of summer music camp life with him, I will always remember him well.
