Edythe Minogue Obituary

Edythe "Edie" Rose Gron Minogue, 52, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, passed away on December 13, 2020. Edie was born on June 1, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Philip and Charlene Gron. Edie grew up in Euclid, Ohio and was a 1986 graduate of Euclid High School. She attended The University of Akron, and Kent State University. She married James Owen Minogue on October 9th 1999 at St. William Catholic Church. They lived in Chicago, Illinois for six years before moving to North Carolina. She is survived by her loving husband James Minogue of Indian Trail, NC; daughter, Anna Minogue; parents Philip Michael Gron and Charlene Fleming Gron of Indian Trail, NC ; brothers, Philip (Dawn) Gron of Willowick, OH and Tom Gron of Euclid, OH; sister Maggie Gron of Indian Trail, NC; brother-in-laws Keith Renner of Harwood Heights, IL and Mick Minogue of Chicago, IL; nephews, Charles, Gabriel, Aiden, Devin, Cordell, Lance and Michael; nieces, Lily, Faith, Gail and Jennifer; uncles, Tom (Marilyn) Fleming of North Fort Myers, FL, Frank Gron of Concord, OH, Steve Gron, of Euclid OH and Dean (Lois) Parento of Reedley, CA; aunts: Donna Gron of Bay Village, OH, Dominie Parento of Tulare, CA; The Gron cousins, Parento cousins, Clark cousins, Chizmar cousins, Gorjup cousins and Slattery cousins. Edie enjoyed swimming and chatting on the phone but most of all she loved being in her kitchen, cooking and baking for her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, and loyal friend. Edie will be remembered for her love of the world and all people. The family is in the care of Heritage Funeral Home Indian Trail Chapel. A memorial mass will be celebrated in Spring of 2021.
