Alfred Frahm Obituary

Alfred L. Frahm of Corrales, NM, died Tuesday, November 16 at Lovelace Westside Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. He was 92.

Mr. Frahm was born Feb. 13, 1929, in Bayfield, CO., the son of Fred and Lulu Frahm. Alfred graduated from Bayfield High school in 1947 and married Frances Albright on Sept. 9, 1952. The couple lived on a ranch south of Bayfield and moved away from the area in 1981.

Mr. Frahm loved photographing wildlife and scenery and traveled all over New Mexico to capture the natural beauty. Everyone in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho received a photo on his or her birthday and wedding anniversary.

Mr. Frahm is survived by his two daughters, Vicki Frahm of Corrales and Cherry Hoenig (Tim) of Buckeye, AZ., two granddaughters Jessica Hoenig and Beth Lockard (Chris), and one great-grandson, Alexander Lockard. He is preceded in death by an infant son, Allen Lee Frahm; his wife, Frances; brothers Dick, Ellis, and Jim; and his three-year-old great-granddaughter, Desirae Lockard.

A graveside service will be held at the Pine River Valley Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Nov. 30. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, Dec. 4th at the Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Rio Rancho, 103 Rio Rancho Drive, Suite A, Rio Rancho, NM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Ryan House Pediatric Hospice at Ryan House - First Floor, Hospice of the Valley, 110 W. Muhammed Ali Way, Phoenix, AZ 85013. Online contributions may be made at HOV.Org .
