Larry Martin Sr. Obituary

Larry Ken Martin, Sr., age 64, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Department of Veterans Affairs in New Orleans, La. He was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. He served as a Police Officer for 15 years at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Hospital in New Orleans, La. and a police officer for 10 years with the NOPD. He is survived by his fiance' Tamara Marioneaux, his daughter Keina Wallace, his son, Larry Martin Jr. (devoted daughter-in-law, Leah Martin), his brother, Charles Martin, 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and loyal friends. Officer Larry was preceded in death by his father, Julius Martin, and his mother Beola Martin, his grandfather Oddis Mahoney and grandmother Mary Joseph Mahoney. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Officer Larry's Home Going Celebration on Monday April 15, 2024 for 10:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 8540 Panola Street, New Orleans, La. 70118.
