Kraig Erinn Yaseen, aged 60, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born on June 13, 1961 in Tucson, AZ to Robert Calman Yaseen & Judith Merle Perr.

He graduated from Cedar Hill Elementary School, Winman Junior High School, and Tollgate HS in Warwick, Rhode Island. Kraig moved to Durango, Colorado at age 18, pursuing his passion for skiing and attending Ft. Lewis college where he met his future wife, Donna Lee Brickhaus. Upon graduating with a double major in art and business, he started "Yaseen Design Studio" in Durango. He was well respected, a leader in his industry and professional career.

Kraig was a man of deep faith and conviction. He was Jewish by birth and choice. On January 16, 1984 he was born again as a believer in Jesus/Yeshua. He frequently explained that one was given at birth and the other discovered in life. Without reservation, he shared his love for Jesus with family, friends, acquaintances, and strangers.

Kraig had a true passion for Colorado and loved the outdoors, enjoying photography, mineral and fossil collecting, skiing, and biking on the trails and mountains. He especially loved God and his family. Kraig had a contagious zeal for serving others.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Lee Yaseen, and their children; Kathryn Yaseen, Jonathan Yaseen, and Ryan Yaseen. He is also survived by his mother, Judi Merle Harris of Plantation, Florida, and his brother, Michael Evan Yaseen, of Warwick, RI. Kraig's grandchildren are; Kyle, Elyssia, Noah, Thomas, Beatrice-Opal, and a granddaughter due in January 2022. A true dog lover, Kraig also leaves behind his two dogs and four grand dogs.

An open/public service will be held to honor the life and legacy of Kraig Yaseen on November 6th, 2021 at 11:00 am, at The River Church, 860 Plymouth Drive in Durango, Colorado. Reception to follow. All are welcome.

Kraig was a good person. He and Donna helped me through a dark time. His love for the outdoors, four wheel driving, and motorcycles was deep: But even deeper still was his love of family and God.

I'm honored and blessed to have known Kraig and all the Yaseen's, and absolutely heartbroken to hear of his passing. The world is a better place for Kraig's time on the planet - what a fun, smart, creative, loving man devoted deeply to God, his family and friends. His legacy lives on in his beautiful family, sweet pups, and all his super cool signs. He is deeply missed, but not gone, just gone on ahead...
