With family and friends by her side, Lois June Padia age 88, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away at Swedish Medical Center, on May 30th, 2021.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday June 11, 2021 at Little Ivy Chapel, Denver, CO. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
Lois was born on April 24, 1933 in Cortez, Colorado the daughter of Leroy Edgar and Ida Bell (Sidebottom) Taylor.
Lois loved spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her husband, camping and fishing.
Lois married Daniel (Dean) Duaine Clevenger on August 18, 1951, Daniel (Dean) passed away on September 21, 1969 in an accident in the oil fields. On June 4, 1980 Lois married Raymond Padia. If ever two were one, then surely it was Ray & Lois. After loving & taking care of one another for over 40 years Ray passed away on October 24, 2020.
Surviving Lois are her step-children, Sharon Jobson, Beth McCurdy, JoAnn Padia-Lyons, Darlene Brinkerhoff, Donna Padia and Ray Anthony Padia; brother, Charles Taylor; sister-in-law Marion Fischer and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond Padia; her step-daughters, Carol Bolen and Cathy Rochlitz; and her siblings, Victor Taylor, Dorothy Uptain and Charlotte Stanley.
Lois will truly be missed by her family and friends.
