Howard was born September 25,1929 in Glendale, California and passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021 in Durango, Colorado.
Howard served his country in the Army as an optometrist in The Panama Canal Zone during the Korean War.
Howard served the Durango and Four Corners communities as an optometrist for 47 years. He enjoyed his patients and the care he was able to provide.
Howard served his Creator and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church his entire life.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn of 70 years, daughters Jan Aalborg and Debbie Chilson, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
