Gerald DeWayne Johnson, 83, of Durango, Colorado, died 6/17/2022, Durango, Born 5/7/1939. Service will be held at a later date. He was born in Texas, raised in New Mexico, lived in & traveled all of the western states before moving overseas. He worked in seismic exploration in Somalia,Tanzania, Argentina & Chad. Back in the states, the family settled in Denver, eventually moving to Durango where he bought & ran the Likker House until retirement. He is predeceased by his wife, Virginia; parents, Raidie Williams & John Morgan Johnson. Survived by his daughter, Cynthia Spolyar (grandchildren Kirsten & McCullough Spolyar), son, Gregory Johnson.
