Francisco Lorenzo Albo, "Frankie", 76, passed from this life December 4, 2020, at his home in Billings, MT. Frankie was born November 4, 1944 to Pasqual and Senida Albo in Durango, CO. He graduated from Durango High School and went on to get his degree from York College.
Frankie taught at Garfield Elementary School and plied his artistic nature and love arranging flowers for Flowers from the Heart florists and the Northern Hotel floral shop. He worked over 35 years for St Vincent DePaul.
Frankie believed in serving his community and tending to those less fortunate. For over 20 years you could find Frankie at the Montana Rescue Mission serving holiday meals. He received numerous accolades from various charities for the time he committed and his generous contributions.
He was a proud member of the Big Sky Chorus for 13 years until its hiatus this past year. His singing talents were further showcased as member of the D'versity Quartet.
Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Francis Pacheco, Louise Duran, Rosie Montoya and brothers Manuel Albo, Richard Albo, and Abran Albo.
Frankie is survived by sister Tommie Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.
He dedicated his life to serving and his generous spirit and sense of humor will be missed by the many lives he touched. Frankie never met a stranger.
Memorial services for Frankie will be held Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at Hood Mortuary Chapel, Durango, Colorado, interment will occur at Greenmount Cemetery.
