Cheryl (Brown) Orris came into this world December 10, 1961 and departed April 11, 2021.

Cheryl was the definition of selfless. She helped anyone whenever she could. Her joy was contagious, and she loved a good joke. She treated everyone like a friend, never knowing a stranger.

Cheryl's family was the most important thing to her. She cherished spending time with all her grandchildren whenever possible. She loved being a Grandma.

Cheryl worked as a US Postal Carrier for over 20 years and dearly loved her customers and they would say the same about her. Prior to her career with USPS, she worked at the old Dick and Janes Place near the state line. She was a friendly face to all the regulars and anyone who passed through. Her kids were active in 4H, rodeo, and FFA. She loved to watch and support them. She was always willing to lend a hand with a smile on her face.

Cheryl was proceeded in death by her mother, Alberta Brown (Hickman); sister, Kelly Hadden (Brown) and mother-in-law, Patrice M Orris.

She will be missed by her father: Gerald Brown; her husband: Randy Orris; her three kids: Justin, Daniel, Randi; daughter-in-law Stephanie; her beloved grandchildren: Keaton, Karter, Kyson, Coleman, Riley, and Louis; as well as her siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She leaves behind so many friends that truly became family including Vicky Wancura, Dusty Ledford, and many more.

She was an angel on earth and will continue to be for all those she loved. A celebration of life will be held this summer.

Our families spent a lot of hours together when our children were in school. We all have many fond memories of our travels trying to make a bunch of ornery boys behave! Cheryl was the postcard of a supportive and loving mother and wife. Our world is diminished by her loss. Our hearts go out to the Orris family and many other friends who will be impacted by this loss.

Words cant explain what is going through my mind right now. Its very shocking to hear about your passing. My heart aches for your family!

Cheryl was an inspiration to me and she was always there when I needed her. Since working with her within the 7-8 months I've been with the post office, she was an amazing and friendliest person I have ever met. Yes she would light up the room and always has a smile on her face. Being her sub, this hit me pretty hard because she taught me mostly everything I know. She will be missed very much. ❤ I remember texting her one day and she said she never worried about me doing her route. I will miss those days of her telling me that Im worth something. Don't worry Cheryl I will do my absolute best to keep your customers happy. Now you have wings and fly high. Im very honored to have met someone like you.

We are heartbroken to hear of Cheryl's passing. Heaven gained a very special angel. She was a classmate, a friend, a co-4-H mother, and always a light in someone's day. Loving thoughts to her family, and she is going to be missed by so many. Roger Cole and Rena Bacus-Cole.

Cheryl remember us Sutherlin kids after we moved away from home. She was always a face that I would hope to run into when I came back to visit.

I had the pleasure of working with Cheryl as a rural carrier at our local USPS for over 12 yrs and I must say if the USPS were structured like the military, Cheryl would have been our General. Having been a mail carrier for over 20 yrs and president of our Union chapter in this district, she was our go to for all questions, concerns and complaints. She stood up for everyone of us and never complained about the time we added to her daily job and duties. She not only was the voice of reason, she was the voice of laughter. whenever she was in the house you knew it by the sound of her chuckle. I cannot begin to say how very deeply she will be missed.
my sincerest condolences to all her friends and family.
