Alyssa Lynne Fischer was born May 18th, 2003 and returned to her heavenly Father on July 19th, 2019. Her time with all that knew her was far too short. Our "Cheerful Waterfall" lives on in our beings and the beauty that surrounds us.
Alyssa was born in Rockford IL, and lived in Valdosta, GA and Enid, OK before moving to Bayfield in 2013. She excelled academically and hoped to attend CSU's Veterinarian College, recently visiting the campus and attending a vet camp. She loved all things living and her tender heart exuded energy, joy and hope. She was a BHS cheerleader placing 3rd in State in 2017. Alyssa was artistic and creative, making beautiful music, art and poetry. She also was athletic, loved soccer, running, and skiing. She loved gardening with her mom and traveling with family, recently interpreting for her parents during a trip to Havana, Cuba. She was a loving sister to Autumn, and close friend to Kendal, Michelle, Kaeli, and many more.
Alyssa is survived by her parents, Dan and Susan Fischer, twin sister Autumn Fischer, grandmothers Marjorie Fischer and Helma Sherman, Grandfather Albert Fischer Jr., Stepmother Altheia Fischer, Aunts Melanie McGhee and Sandra Watson, Uncles Mark Fischer and Albert "Skip" Fischer III, and many more aunts and uncles.
A Celebration of Life will be held at BHS Performing Arts Center at 10:00am on the 3rd of Aug., 2019, an informal reception to follow at Vallecito Community Center and Ute Mountain Park Picnic Area. In lieu of flowers donations to Spring Creek Horse Rescue and Pine River Shares are welcome. The celebration will be live streamed at Hood Mortuary YouTube channel. Alyssa Lynne Fischer
