Robert "Robby" James Hofman passed away on March 20, 2019 at the age of 31. Robby was born to Nancy and Bob Hofman in Spokane Washington on February 29, 1988. Robby graduated from Durango High School in 2006, and attended Fort Lewis College where he studied psychology.
Robby had a brilliant sense of humor, was a loyal and sincere friend, and had a contagious light that he shared with everyone he crossed. Robby was happiest enjoying live music, especially Phish, sharing quotes of his favorite comedians, playing baseball and listening to the voice of Vin Skully announce the Dodger games. Also, he loved watching his brother play soccer, and sharing their favorite soccer team, Tottenham Hotspurs, skiing fast and caring for animals.
In addition to his parents, Nancy and Bob, Robby will be sorely missed by his brother Nick and Lucas Hofman, his aunt and uncle Paul Gibson, his cousins Lisa Sifrit and Zach Carpino, and numerous cousins and aunts and uncles in California and countless friends whom Robby considered family.
A ceremony will be held in memory of Robby on Saturday March 30th starting at 11am at the Animas City Theatre in Durango, CO.
