Hello
MY PRAYERS AND SYMPATHY UPON YOUR LOSS. I AM AN OLD FRIEND. I mean OLD going back to Boston City
Hospital Days. I truly wish I had not lost contact with him. But, upon the loss of my husband in 2015, I retired in Colorado Springs and after meeting many Kansas friends, his name came up.I am pleased to have him as a companion in heaven with my partner, Mike. Prayers for all.

Lucia and family,
I was saddened to learn just today of Chucks passing, and send my love and thoughts and prayers to all of you. I kept up with you a bit through Charlie when he was my Granddaughters teacher. So many happy memories are popping up of holidays with the surgical group, fun parties around your pool, falling in love with your Dane, Rosie, which led us to our own special Great Dane, Daisy. Im so sorry for your grief and am thinking of you. Dr Shield has passed as well, just today.
Thinking of you, Karen Robertson Kennedy

My dear Lucia, I am devastated to hear of Dr's passing. He was the kindest, best educator I ever worked with at St. Joe in the Operating Room (OR)and on Trauma call. No other husband and wife team opened their home to the OR crowd during the summertime to eat, drink, and romp in your pool! We appreciated your kindness so much, and I know I speak for others who worked in the OR during the 80's.
We have lost a truly great surgeon/teacher when he retired. Now God and the Angels have him so he can continue his good work in Heaven. May God, Christ and all the Angels comfort you, Lucia, and your family during this time of loss. I shall add him to my daily prayer list.

Dear Lucia and family,
We are so saddened to learn of the passing of Chuck. He was such a kind and fun friend and we will remember many good times with him in Durango with golf and Coffee Club and Music in the mountains and at your lovely home for those fabulous dinners. Chuck had our same roots and we loved that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
