Robert L. Swanson , 86, of Durango, CO, died 10/27/2018 The Valley Inn in Mancos, CO . Born 11/6/1931.
He loved a hot cup of strong black coffee and was usually seen wearing a suit and tie. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Grace Swanson. He is survived by nieces and nephews in Durango, Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington DC.
A service will be held at He attended Harvard University followed by Tufts Medical School and then residency at the Univ of Colorado Health Sciences Center. at He began his anesthesia career in Durango in 1958 and spent his entire career practicing here. .
