Robert "Larry" Baca passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Seattle Washington. He was 67 years old.
Robert was born May 21, 1949 in Ignacio, Colorado. His parents were Sadie and Jerry Rivas. He graduated from Ignacio High School.
Robert worked for Boeing Aircraft Corp. and for the City of Seattle in the maintenance department.
He enjoyed camping and fishing and was an avid Seattle Seahawks fan. Robert was a member of a local car club and showed his classic cars in car shows. Robert was known to hangout with his buddies and talk all things mechanical, especially airplanes. His musical tastes were mostly towards the "Oldies".
He is survived by his daughters: Tonece Baca and Toniette Baca-Lopez of Ignacio; Grandchildren : Kristen, Kree, and Philman Lopez; Great-granddaughter: Mia Lopez; numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; and many extended family and close friends from Seattle and Ignacio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother: Rosalie Baca; Uncles: Manual Baca, Sr. and Willie Baca.
A Service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 10 am, at Hood Mortuary Chapel. Burial of his cremains will occur at Ignacio West Cemetery.

So here we are 1 year later and I still cry every time I think of you,or when you come up in conversations,or the oldies radio station,and definitely when I hear a boy named sue- it takes me back to our last camping trip with you and Chris, you 2 were always the joker's and the fun mellow guys,you are awesome and I miss you so much,I will see you on the other side when I get there.
