We are SO sorry to learn of Frank's passing. Frank and Marilyn were part of the San Juan Swingers Square Dance group that we were a part of when we lived in Bayfield. Lots of special memories and we thank you for them Frank and Marilyn too. Marilyn, we first met nearly 46 years ago. Since then we have enjoyed so much together, work, dinner parties, Oktoberfest, Trinidad, Alaska, South America--but mostly the friendship. We will truly miss Frank.
With love, thoughts, and prayers,

I opened this morning's Houston Chronicle (Feb 20, 2017) and spotted Franks obituary. I worked with Frank at Amoco. I was a young man just out of engineering school and Frank was one of my mentors at Amoco. We traveled many places internationally for the company. I knew Frank to be a patient, honorable man interested in providing first class engineering services for the company and teaching the younger crop of engineers. I knew him to have a gentle disposition. He was respected by many at Amoco. A lot of the young engineers like myself looked to Frank for technical guidance. Frank was my model for the type of experienced engineer that I wanted to become. If, in the end, I became that type of engineer it was due, in part, to Frank. It's hard to believe that Frank Hollingsworth has passed. RIP Frank. - John Guild, Feb 20, 2017
