Arthur Archuleta Obituary

Arthur Archuleta, Sr., passed away on October 5, 2016 to his heavenly Father and beloved wife, Sadie.

He was born in McPhee, Colorado on October 9, 1926. He married Sadie in 1949. Art worked at the Uranium Mill of Durango for thirteen years. He then worked for Rocky Mountain Electric, B&D Electric. He established Arthur's Electric in 1976. It was a successful business that he proudly ran until the age of 78. Arthur retired to care for Sadie, who had advanced Parkinson's disease.

He is survived by Arthur Archuleta, Jr., daughter Kathy Walsh, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, brother Bell (Marty) Randall of Arizona, sister, Jeanne Young of Utah. Funeral services to be held October 11, 2016 at 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Durango.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to, Hospice of Mercy, 1 Mercado Street, Suite 270, Durango, CO 81301.

Arthur was a very good man! He and my Father worked together for many years. My brother and I had the pleasure of working with him and always enjoyed his humor and work ethic. He worked hard!! My family have great respect and warmth for Art. I'm very sorry I missed the announcement and the services.
