William Wyatt Obituary

William Arthur "Art" Wyatt, age 80 died peacefully on Monday morning, February 5, 2018 at his home in Smyrna, TN. Art was born February 3, 1938 in Cement, OK and was raised in Hemet, CA, the only child of the late Riddie Bernice Harris and his adoptive father, Elmer Wyatt.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Art was preceded in death by his three wives, Kathleen, Donna, and Phyllis. He will be deeply missed by his six children, Joel Wyatt, Shelly Walker, Peggy Wyatt, Tisha Crisler, Kim Gilley, and Dusty Wyatt; fourteen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, as well as a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Art served in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1956 and fiercely loved our country. He became a master electrician, who successfully owned and ran his own business through most of his life. In addition to Hemet, California, Art lived in Honolulu on the Island of Oahu, Albuquerque, NM, Durango, CO, and Smyrna, TN. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, great friends, camping out, and he loved all the dogs her ever owned.

Art was loved by many and a friend to all. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. An online guestbook is available for the Wyatt family at www.woodfinchapel.com
